Sherisse has been with Little Moe’s K9 Academy since 2012, working with an array of dogs from puppies to seniors, training obedience, tricks, working on changing behaviour problems, and building confidence and relaxation in dogs that need it. Sherisse especially enjoys seeing the growth in a dogs potential; whether it’s just learning lots of fun tricks or helping a dog become a more confident, well-mannered, stable companion.
Aside from working in The Personal Touch throughout the day, Sherisse teaches a variety of classes, and helps clients and their dog by offering private lessons that can be catered to the client’s specific needs.
Operant Conditioning Behaviour Analysis is the training method used by Sherisse and she is a certified OCBA Level 1 trainer. She also has certifications in teaching obedience classes, ACT Animal Care Training and Behaviour, and is a certified service dog trainer for PTSD service dogs.
